You had me at curling

I'll admit that I'm not much a fan of the Winter Olympics. Much of the coverage is of  X-Games type events that can be found nearly any week on TV. And the one even that does seem like it would be really cool -- Biathalon; I mean skiing AND shooting? Come on! -- is surprisingly boring to watch. However, one event that sucks me in is curling. I don't know what it is, but if I'm flipping the channels and I see curling, I'm in. Maybe it's because curling seems like an approachable, realistic event that you could maybe, *just maybe* actually be able to do. I've been sweeping since forever. My dad used to make me sweep the gutter and driveway like everyday. And I'm pretty good at shuffleboard too. (Would it be un-Olympic to be drinking a pint while you're curling? Or to make the losing team buy you a round?) And besides, the American teams both finished DFL, so, I definitely couldn't have done any worse...
