To recap our tasting thus far…my brother, Adam, send me a care package of 13 of his most-favorite IPAs that he wanted me to try to see how our tastes compared. Adam ranked the very least of the bottles at an A and the best at an AAAA. (Roughly a 134% grade, I beli...

Adam is truly one of those people that would give you the shirt off his back. (Well, if he liked you. If he didn't like you, he'd probably take your shirt.)

There is a disconcerting phenomenon in the retail world called “Showrooming” where stores are becoming virtual showrooms for on-line juggernaut, I wrote about this back in August in a post titled “Are we becoming Amazon showrooms?

The concern – from the retailer’s s...

Reality TV Meets Reality Sciacca

So I started doing the Twitters a couple of months ago (@SciaccaTweets) and one of the things that I immediately liked about it was the high level of interaction. Compared to Linked In -- where I am "friends" with like 500 people I have absolutely no idea who they are and (fortunately) never hear from -- on Twitter you are personally engaged on a daily basis with people as...
