CURSE YOU RAIN STORM!!!!  Cuuuuuuurssssse Yoooooouuuu!!!

I was *deep* in the middle of a really interesting post -- I mean, come on, aren't they all interesting? -- when....THE POWER GOES OUT! Why didn't I hit save? Why didn't Billy G's Word 2007 auto-save step up to the plate to help a brother out? Why did this giant lightning storm feel that THIS EXACT MOMENT was the right time to strike? WHY?!?

So, I have not much for you today....

Inspiration level to start back up the mountain and recreate what I was doing is just not there. Battling conflicting emotions; boiling near the top are equal parts urge to kill, urge to smash and urge to cry. Urge to drink will well up later and drown them all in a warm, chilled Vodka embrace. I'm already picturing the sweet surrender...

I'll leave you with this little tidbit from the day.... I had a morning appointment with a client at Custom Theater named... Raper. Seriously. And while you might think this is one of the absolute worst names ever, it is, as my co-workers pointed out, infinitely better than being named "Rapist" or even the hyphenated "Ben-raped." So, my advice to you when meeting with a client named Raper is to never turn your back. And if he says he wants to show you something down here, that's right, just down here at the end of the hallway, oh yeah, that light hasn't worked for years, it's OK, just take my hand...Well, don't be interested. And if you should happen to hear the distant twang of banjo music, do not, under ANY circumstances, make any sounds that could be confused for squeels...
